Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul West Central Province

Like any family, we take pictures! We take pictures at small gatherings, large gatherings, retreats and more. We would love to share some of these pictures with you.
Sr. Bernadette, from the St. Louis Province, is currently serving in Paris at the Motherhouse. She sent these pictures saying, "A rare thing happened in Paris today -- it snowed! Usually there is too much radiant energy from all the buildings, but it has been below freezing for several days, so the air is cold enough to hold the snow without turning it to rain, and the ground is cold enough that the snow can stick. Several of us secretaries went out to play a little. Later on, we got Sr. Neghesti Michael, the African Councillor, to come out -- she has never seen snow before today. The poor soul, everyone bombarded her with snowballs! She laughed and laughed. It was fun. Here are three photos -- in the first, I'm with Sr. Vera Lucia, the Brazilian secretary. In the second, Sr. Rosanna from Italy, Sr. Vera Lucia (encore), and Sr. Annabelle from the Philippines decided it would be great fun to pile snow on their heads. Later on, Sr. Kathleen came out and we made a snow man whom we called Jacques Frost."
