Article about the Daughters of Charity in CONFLUENCE

The Spring/Summer 2010 issue of CONFLUENCE, a regional history journal published by Lindenwood University, contains an article about the Daughters of Charity entitled, "The Journey of the Sisters of Charity to St. Louis, 1828". The article includes the full text of the diary written by the Sisters who journeyed to St. Louis to start the first Catholic hospital west of the Mississippi and an essay by Provincial Archivist, Carole Prietto.
